Show pop-up with work instruction when starting a job

Did you know that since v11.220 of PROPOS it is possible to automatically show a pop-up with the work instructions when processing a job?

In PROPOS work instructions can be given for a job and/or for an operation within a job. These work instructions can be found on the cell screen via job info button (that shows up when clicking on a job). However, it may be desirable that employees who start a job are guaranteed to see these work instructions. It is now possible to automatically show a pop-up with the work instructions when starting a job.

See above. This is a general system setting that applies to all cells. With the first setting on True (-1) a pop-up appears when there are work instructions. With the second setting to True (-1) a pop-up appears when there are general instructions. With the third setting, you can make sure that the pop-up only appears when the instructions contain a certain set of characters. This allows you to make sure that a pop-up does not always appear, but only in the most important situations. By agreeing which set of characters is being used (for example ‘!!:’) it can already be defined in the ERP system in which situations a pop-up will or will not appear in PROPOS.
